No Longer Accepting ClientsAs of the end of 2013 I am no longer accepting new clients. I do continue to make images, but for pleasure and philanthropic reasons only. About MeI've been taking pictures for almost as long as I can remember. My father (Robert Hudson, Sr) was a serious hobbiest and the family photographer. He not only taught me the art and science of photography but made me realize how important it is to create a family history in photos. He did this by dragging my sister and me outside for photos every month. To this day, we both treasure those photos. When I was in the 10th grade I got serious about the craft. I worked at the local camera store all through high school and college and served as a staff photographer for the school paper and yearbook. I learned the art of photojournalism. I've spent the past 15+ years as a freelance photographer shooting anything that I could: weddings, portraits, sports, news, etc. My photography has been published in newspapers and magazines all over the globe. In the years since the decline of the editorial market I've shifted my attention to weddings and portraits. I believe my journalism background gives me a unique angle on wedding photography. In a lot of ways, I look at a wedding as a news assignment; I'm there to capture the story in pictures. I live in Tampa, Florida with my wife, Angela, our kids, Milo and Zara, and our Australian Shepherd Ozzie. We enjoy traveling and have been all over the world: Costa Rica, Argentina, France, Germany, England, Poland, Spain, The Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Croatia, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. |
